In my sewing room …

So its been a month since i’ve moved to my new house and what a wonderful feeling to have a place to call my own (alhamdulilah).

I still have lots of boxes to unpack, get curtains put up, paint the walls, buy furniture etc basically i am living in a mess but as mummy says ” yes you are living in a mess but its your own mess” hehe

It goes without saying that i have a dedicated a room to sew in, mostly known as a sewing room to me its my “happy room” just brings me so just joy.

I havent done much with it either only got the essential set up in order for me to create in. I have all these gorgeous fabric just staring at me and I’ve decided its time to create things with them and so that everyone can enjoy them basically share the love.

Currently on my sewing table are handbag organisers which i am busy making since they seem to be on demand. However i also plan on sewing my other products which i will be selling but this time not online or at a craft fair but in a shop!! (now don’t get too excited) not  opening my shop (yet).

But a shop that i have come to love and  the owner has agreed to carry my products. I am super excited and would love to reveal it all now but patience is a virtue hehe so you will just have to wait for the announcement on the blog.

All i can say though is that it will be happening before the end of March. Make sure you subscribe to the blog so you don’t miss a thing ( orange button at the top left side of this page, click on the orange button to receive blog updates on your email) or follow me on Google+

    Hi Mayya!

I just googled “fabrics in Oman” and you popped up! I have just opened a fabric shop (where I am hoping to sell unique fabrics) and I decided to google possible places in the world to achieve this. Would you be kind enough to educate me? What kinds of fabrics are found in Oman and possible products to be made from them?

    Thank you
