I dont know what you were up to this past weekend but i had a crafty Friday!
Some of the members of the group {Crafty in Oman} met on Friday afternoon , we had loads of fun. CIO was founded last year by Dhalia Al Ryami my crafty partner in crime and myself. The aim of this group is to bring together the crafters of all nationalities who currenly reside in Oman under one roof. To help, support and guide our crafty souls!
The last time we met was in June last year remember this post?
The group has grown since we are getting close to 400 members (whoo hoo) which is amazing! As much as we enjoy admiring and complementing each other’s talent we decided it was time we get to get us all under one roof.
We choose our favorite spot in town Sparkles Cafe in Al Khuwair, ladies definitely check this place out if you havent already, it is so glam a great place to relax and/or pamper yourself! oh and they offer free wifi too!
We asked the members to bring along a projects they have completed or currently working on.
Here is the crafty side
Apart from showing off our crafts we got down to serious crafty discussions, suggestions on how we could make CIO better and we were overwhelmed by the positive feedback we got about having such a group in the first place.
Super excited about the future of CIO only good things in sha Allah. These ladies are super talented and i am honored and super excited that they are part of CIO. This is the goal of the group to bring like minded people together, we all have a common factor we are passionate about our craft its a joy when you find someone who shares your joy at finding the right fabric LOL
What i loved about this group of ladies is the diversity in our crafts we have sewing, jewelry making, painting, baking, pottery, crochet, knitting, scrap booking, card making and i am sure they are lots more.
A truly enjoyed evening in the company of these talented ladies and if you missed the opportunity to attend this one don’t worry you can attend the next one, just make you are a member of group on Facebook.

They definitely inspired me to get back to doing what i love most sewing ❤
