Rae of Made by Rae and Dana of MADE joined forces during the month of Feburary to celebrate the boy.
“The boys in our lives often get overlooked when it comes to our crafty endeavors, as it is often harder to find cute and unique stuff to make for them. So we hope that our blogs will provide an excellent resource for finding ideas when it comes to making things for our boys.” – Quote taken from Made by Rae’s blog
Its a well known fact that it’s easier to find things to make for girls than for boys, because girls can wear anything from pants, to tops and dresses where as boys are well limited to pants and tops unless you live in the Middle East where they wear long robes LOL which is the traditional garment called dishdasha.
Anyway back to the topic at hand Rae and Dana shared great tutorials, had guest bloggers on boys projects which i enjoyed. As we are at the end of feb i wanted to highlight some of the turorials because they are a great reference for boys projects and i am sure made millions of mums happy!
So let get started..shall we?
Rae shows you how to turn a boy’s shirt from a men’s shirt

“Happy SITS Saturday Sharefest”
There – that’s out of the way.
I agree, there’s very little to be found for boys, and I have 2 of them! Of course, I can’t sew to save my life, so it’s not a big problem for me, but it’s so nice to see that there are things out there if you look hard enough or if you have someone like YOU to find them!
I’d love to learn to sew so I can make these kinds of neat things for both my youngest baby boy, as well as my not-so-baby girl
