Like many of you each year i buy a diary, i like th slim long ones because they are small enough to fit in your bag and big enough to display the whole week on 2 pages!
So this year is no different i bought my dairy for 2010 but after having posted the notebook cover tutorials i knew what HAD to be done :)
So last night after the girls were fast asleep i gave my diary a make over

The fabric i used is from IKEA this is some leftover fabric from the margaret bag i made for Sew it sew a long back in November. Instead of a button and a loop to hold it close i opted for ric rac ribbon and it looks so girly, i love it.
I cant seem to find the exact tutorial i used to make this one in particular however, i will search for it and add it later but i am sure any of the ones linked here will do the job

I no longer write diaries, although I do still keep my old ones. I suppose this makeover can be applied to my freelance writing business journal. But can I have a request, now that you mentioned about having diaries? Could you write a post about what to do with old diaries or something?
