I am currently decorating my daughters’ room and thought of making letters to hang on the walls. So whilst looking for tutorials on how to make them i thought this would be something you might enjoying making.
Dont worry if you dont have sewing skills you can make this without a sewing machine!
I have still not decided on what i am going to make yet (their whole names or just thier first letter such as the H and D). If you dont have kids or dont want to decorate thier rooms these would make a great gift espcially for a newborn. Or you could decorate your sewing room i am mean the possibilities are endless!
Anyway here are some examples now keep in mind not all of these are made out of fabric some are wooden letters that have been painted (but as i cant find such letters here i will make my own!)
(Click on the pictures to take you to the link)
So here is how you do it you can either sew them or use some cardboard and some pretty scrapbook paper or gift wrapping paper to cover them.
If you decided to sew them this is the easiest method i found on Make Baby Stuff scroll to the bottom for the how to.
If you’d rather make it using cardboard Bring on the Lloyds have a great tutorial with links to fonts too!
