Well there is always a first and this is a first time (and hopefuly the last time) that no one made anything including me! Last week i posted the tutorial to make your fabric wall letters and it seems no one was able to make it. I wonder why? didnt you like the project?
I know i have been very bad lately as i missed the last sew it too. I feel terrible but it seems that every weekend either me or one of my kids fall sick! Last week i was not well and this week i have a slight eye infection and Mm Dania has the sniffles and a very bad eye infection too.
My poor baby woke up one morning after going to bed (perfectly healthy might i add) with a runny nose and a swollen left eye an! She could hardly open it and kept rubbing it, she broke my heart!
I took this picture of her as we were on our way out to the clinic

She is has become ever so clingy and heading to my sewing room is impossible, even when she gets busy with playing she will notice that i am not there and look for me *sigh* so there goes my excuse what about yours why didnt you join sew it this week?
In my defence i did start though i have cut my fabric all was left to do was sew!
If you have an idea for the next sew it let me know
Have a great one!

Hope everyone feels well soon. I have a plan for my wall letters, just haven’t been able to follow through. I plan to use my scraps and hopefully give it a patchwork quilt look. Will put it over the top of cardboard letters, need to make a run to the store. May be next week before I can. I will send a picture when it is done.
Have a great day ~cynde
Thank you for your well wishes.
Your wall letters sound like so much fun and i am sure it will look great cant wait to see the pics, thanks for stopping by
oh poor baby dania..i hope you and your girls will get well soon mayya..and I’m sorry I didn’t complete Sew It too.
I like the project and so wanted to do it. But since I’m not decorating, I wanted to make the whole A-Z play and learn set for Hanan. But I could not finish the set in 2 days since I work full time and only have the weekends to sew.
Dont worry i totally understand i just thought maybe this was not a motivational project, but it seems that its one that many of you want to take a step further…looking forward to your alphabet play set (which is such a great idea!!!)
I hope you all feel better soon!
Well I apologise for not making it, I haven’t been home to do it!!!
What about making some type of softie? I have no idea!
Take Care!!

oh she looks so sad, I hope she (and you) are feeling much better very soon. Does it count that I did a version of wall letters some time ago? I made them for my husbands nieces 1st birthday except they were 3D and filled with stuffing. I can fully appreciate the clingy side of things … hang in there Mayya (((hugs))))
Hi SITSta! Thanks for stopping by today, I LOVE your blog! I agree this si why I love SITS. Sorry to hear you and your girls are not feeling well. Great some rest and I hope you all feel better soon
Sorry to see Dania in that condition, I understand how difficult it is when kids fall sick, My younger son still sticks to me when he falls sick, though he is 10 yrs old. And sorry Mayya I could’nt participate in Sew it this time, Actually I had put my hands into too many things, and dint want to leave it incomplete.
Now I know why you were not present at Sesie’s house too, Nima did tell me you were planning to come, and I was eager to meet you. Anyway, maybe next time. Take care of yourself and kids.
hope Daina feels better soon,,, its a bug that is in the air now…
