This week for Sew it we are making the market skirt
I LOVE the skirt its soo cute and super easy to make. This one is for Dania i have not taken a picture of her modelling it as i dont have any elastic to hold the skirt up. I will be heading out to buy some and promise to add pics of her wearing it once i am done 
Dana’s tutorial is very well explained i had no trouble following her clear instructions and she photograped every step which really helped. I didnt add the pockets because i just felt it would have covered the pretty flower fabric.
What I Learned
It took me 2 hours to make approx i would have finished it earlier but whilst adjusting the gathers my threads came loose as i didnt leave enough thread at the beginning or the end. So remember to pull auite a bit of thread before you start the gathers and at the end so that when you come to pull and adjust your gathers they wont become undone!
I cant wait to try it on Dania hope it fits her and as promised will add pics with her wearing it.
