How does she do it?

You have probably figured by now that if you want something bad enough you have to scarifice, well i choose to scarifice on sleep lol i wake up early after fajir prayers and sew.

 After putting the girls to bed usually 8 – 9 pm i head upstairs to my sewing room and sew  until approx 11pm and sometimes midnight. You are probably thinking ”oh poor Mayya she is not getting enough sleep”, but honestly i am loving every second of it.

 I dont moan in the morning because i know that i willget at least 2 hours of doing something i love and enjoy I actually noticed this morning that sewing makes me smile literally, the sound of the machine is music to my ears and handling fabric the colours oh where do i begin…(you get the picture, yes i am a sewing addict and LOVE IT)

Yesterday i started sewing the thread catcher for Sew it and this is what i came up with.

I know, i know red and black again? what can i say i am drawn to these colours and have so much of it why not?! (i should warn you my next project is going to make black and red too)

oh and instead of sewing another pincushion i used theflower pinsuchion i made remember this? (oh ignore the blue dots it my  fabric marker)

Now i have to admit that this tutorial was not the easiest to follow, i had to read it aloud over and over again to get it. If someone were standing outside my sewing room would thing i have gone crazy!

Did anyone find it slightly confusing or was it only me?! oh and i meant to ask  are my current choice of tutorials okay? or is there something in particular you would like a tutorial of?  please comment and let me know your thougts
